The path

Nobody joins the team by filling in a form and appearing on Sunday. The path is meant to be clear, and a little slow on purpose.

1. Read what serving involves — these pages, our ethos, or Your introduction.
2. A personal invitation from a leader, then a conversation (about 15–20 minutes) to talk about role, experience, availability, and faith.
3. Prepare if you are heading toward a musical tryout: assigned songs, charts, and recordings from Planning Center. For sound or projection, you will shadow rather than learn a set list.
4. Try out or shadow, then hear from us within about a week.
5. Observe a Thursday rehearsal as invited — listen, learn the room, meet the team.
6. Play or serve at a few rehearsals before a Sunday, when that helps.
7. Sundays with a season of mutual fit (often around three months), then a simple check that it is still right on both sides.

If we ask you to grow in a specific area before continuing, we will say so. Not being ready yet is not a closed door; it is a next step.
